Globally we face significant food challenges, such as the need to produce more food, for a growing population, with less available resources, and within the context of a changing climate and geo-political circumstances.

Our scientists are focusing on innovation right across Scotland's food supply chain. This puts SEFARI in a unique position to meet these challenges and contribute to Ambition 2030 by helping businesses and other partners access publicly funded research to drive innovation and sustainable economic growth in Scotland.

Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with our scientists and visit a series of multimedia and interactive stalls to hear about some of the ways SEFARI is helping secure Scotland’s food future.

This year’s SEFARI Scottish Parliament showcase is hosted by Emma Harper MSP and will feature a keynote address by the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Economy and Connectivity, Fergus Ewing MSP.

Attendance at our showcase is through invitation only. Invites are likely to be sent the week beginning the 16th of April.

Please note that attendees are required to pass through security upon entering the Scottish Parliament and should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event start time.
