Tuesday 2nd November:

Saturday 6th November:
SEFARI Gateway is hosting a panel debate on 'Achieving a Just Transition for Rural Scotland'. Speakers include:

- Jim Hume, Director of Policy & Public Affairs, Support in Mind Scotland

The session will be chaired by Charles Bestwick (Director, SEFARI Gateway). Sunday 7th November:
Encampment of Eternal Hope by Walker & Bromwich
The drop-in event will showcase to the public the concepts of how we can take climate action through the food we choose to produce and eat. Topics would include dietary and agricultural biodiversity, circular nutrition, circular/green economy, zero-waste concept, sustainable health (reduction/tacking of Non-Communicable Diseases, NNCDs), healthy environment. On Sunday, Dr Madalina Neascu (Rowett Institue) will discuss Hemp as a case study, and how incorporating this into our diet can offer not only nutritional benefits but also environmental ones too.

SEFARI Gateway is taking part in a joint online debate with the TAPP Coalition on 'Carbon pricing & fiscal policies for a just agri & food transition?' Confirmed speakers:

SEFARI Gateway and the Centres of Expertise will have a stand presence at Fore Hall, Gilbert Scott (Main) Building, UoG (9am-5pm) and we are running 3 events:
2. SEFARI are supporting a Scotland Food and Drink hosted event 'Delivering Net Zero for the food and drink sector' (15.30-17.30) - more details to follow.
3. Display of SEFARI innovation as part of UK Presidency Pavilion in the Blue Zone (display designed through UK DIT from supplied SEFARI Assets) - more details to follow.
Wednesday 10th November:
EU SHERPA project collective, featuring SEFARI and SEFARI Gateway work: stand includes interactive exhibits (e.g. Google Earth Tour of SEFARI research sites; virtual reality models) and videos (e.g. communities led initiatives from around Europe).
