‘Arable farming in a new era’ is the theme of this year’s Arable Scotland, Scotland’s leading field event for knowledge exchange in arable farming.

We’re delighted to be jointly hosting an event titled ‘Safeguarding the Health of Scotland’s Farmed and Natural Ecosystem’ with EPIC (Centre of Expertise on Animal Disease Outbreaks) and the PHC (Plant Health Centre of Expertise). Date: Friday, 21st June

This year’s conference theme:

Agriculture is a devolved competence and post-Brexit the Scottish Government (SG) chose to make its own arrangements for replacing support payments to farmers which were previously governed through the European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

The Royal Society of Chemistry’s 23rd Science and the Parliament takes place on Wednesday 22nd November from 12.00pm until 7.30pm at Our Dynamic Earth, Holyrood Road, Edinburgh. The main theme for 2023 is education.

During the event, we will hear from a range of knowledge exchange experts, who'll engage in dialogue to facilitate learning across the themes of relationships, equity, impact and learning from past experience.

This is an in-person event which will run from 14.00 to 15.30 on Tuesday 22nd August in central Aberdeen (exact venue location will be confirmed once registered). If you wish to attend, you need to request a place (see practical information below).
