The event will be hosted by Professor Mathew Williams, Chief Scientific Adviser for Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture (ENRA) and will feature keynote addresses, breakout sessions, panel debate, networking and posters.Objectives of the event:

The lecture will take place at Edinburgh International Conference Centre, beginning at 5pm on Wednesday 1st October with a pre-lecture exhibition. This will be followed at 6pm by Professor Raworth’s talk and a Q&A session. A post-lecture reception will also be held at 7:30pm. 

This year's event focuses on the topic of future of STEM in Scotland.

This year's TB Macaulay Lecture will be delivered by globally renowned environmental expert, Professor Gretchen C.

This year's topic is Food production, Security and Exports and the event is open to all with prior registration. During the event, soil science, food production, food quality, regulation, safety of processing and distribution will be discussed, plus the imperative of long-term supply security.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event,GO Falkland is being held at Falkland Estate over two days on 17th and 18th July with a vibrant fringe of smaller venues and exhibitor spaces, local food and drinks, music and more.
