Biography

Elliot is a researcher in rural economy and society at SRUC, with main research interests in collective action and social capital frameworks. His responsibilities also include developing innovative research methodologies that will shed light on the role that collective action plays in economic development organisations in Scotland, modelling social networks and their impacts on community economic development and reviewing and analysisng secondary data sources on community resilence and empowerment.
